4th of July Traditions

Since I was four, the small town that I grew up in has had a 4th of July parade. What was once a small-town event has become a 200+ float parade with F-16 and chopper flyovers. Every summer I've gone back to my roots to enjoy bagpipes with my Mom, watch my nephews and nieces scramble for salt water taffy's, and see friends from the past at the carnival following the parade. We BBQ and swim then go to the Big City to watch the firework display.
