Chocolate a la Carte

Ok so we've seen an error with la Carte and we're working to fix the issue. Here's what happened:

At the end of April we fully automated our warehouse so we could continue to offer sweet deals and reasonable shipping and handling costs. In the automation process, we created a packing slip that would only list two items--since our original offering was the deal-of-the-day and the HOTchocolate item. Well we tested EVERYTHING when we added la Carte--except the packing slip. If you only ordered 2 things you should have received your whole order but if you ordered 3 or more you have been shorted. We will send out the rest of the stuff as we now know what the error is.

We have fixed the error so we won't see this again.

Thank YOU for being SWEET and understanding our mistake.

MTV and Twilight

Ok so if you watched the MTV music awards yesterday--or watched or read the news--you know that Kayne made a complete fool of himself. This comes as no surprise--he's done this type of thing several times over. Sadly we're seeing this sort of behavior more-and-more as those in the limelight recklessly live their lives. Whether it's things they say, things they do or clothes they wear, the younger generations have awful public role models.

We didn't watch the awards because of the barrage of smut seen on MTV but we did read about Beyonce giving up the mic to let Taylor Swift finish her acceptance speech that West belligerently interrupted. A gracious act.

Enough about that though--here's the real news. The new trailer for New Moon was previewed and we have it!

Remember the contest is ON! Whichever city sends the most traffic gets a whole theater to themselves!!!

Here are the top 5 cities so far:

1 - New York
2 - Los Angeles
3 - Houston
4 - Salt Lake City
5 - Minneapolis

Tell all your friends to visit CropChocolate.com for a chance to see New Moon on us!

9.11.2001 - 9.11.2009

Today is the 8th Anniversary of 9.11. I will always remember where I was when I saw the north tower of the World Trade Center with a gaping hole in it. I will always remember how I felt as I watched both towers topple to the ground. I will always remember how I felt when I heard about men like Todd Beamer, who's last known words were, "Are you guys ready? Let's roll." before storming the cockpit of flight United 93. My chest swells with emotion when thinking of the heroism of that day.

Since, we have seen Americans step into heroic rolls--whether it was Pat Tillman forgoing his NFL contract to fight for our freedom in Afghanistan, or less-well-know nurse, Sarah Price, who cared for our wounded--they are all heroes in our eyes and CropChocolate.com thanks them.

Thank YOU members of our armed forces, firemen, policemen, military doctors and nurses and those who work tirelessly for freedom! Thank you.

We recommend movies like "United 93" and "Taking Chance". They beautifully capture heroism and respect for our heroic men and women who have fallen.

They're here...rather, it's here!

Chocolate a la Carte is here and so is the sign in option. So yeah, I guess you can say "they're here" just like that little girl in Poltergeist. Just a tangent--you know urban legend has it the cast was cursed. A few of the stars from that movie died young. Oooooo...curse.

Anyway, the SWEET taste lingers at CropChocolate.com with the addition of Chocolate a la Carte and that's what's important here.

For questions see La Carte.

SWEETNESS!

It's here! It's here!...or at least it will be this weekend. Thanks to SWEET customers like Laura Cox--who won a Slice by Making Memories for brilliantly naming the cart--and for a development team who's better than chocolate dipped strawberries, we got it done!

You will be able to sign in, add the current "treat" to the cart, take things out of the cart, and pretty much just have a good time.

At CropChocolate.com we're adding vats and vats of chocolatey goodness...mmm!

And the Winner is...DING DING DING!!!

Actually we have lots of winners today...if you're a gamer, you're a winner because the makers of Guitar Hero today announced 85 new songs in Guitar Hero 5. If you like soul music, the original popdiva, Whitney Houston, announces her new album, "I Look to You". If you like to tweet and you like "Glee" and "Fringe", you can tweet live with the FOX cast and see their responses on-air during upcoming “tweet-peat” episodes. I guess the only loser today is Laura Griffin, who alleges that Miley Cyrus stole her boyfriend and long-time best friend, Liam Hemsworth.

Oh yeah and we have a "name that shopping cart" winner too. Laura Cox wins with "Chocolate à la Carte". We LOVED all the suggestions and we are SWEET on all the participators!!!

Sweet scrapbooking!
