Cruise News
OK so it's amateur hour around here at CropChocolate.com. I'm not saying this as an insult to us but more as saying we're amateurish when it comes to planning cruises. I've been working with a guy and there was some miscommunication--imagine that, two guys talking and miscommucating. Huh... unheard of.
Anyway, because of this we need to change the dates of the cruise. I'm going to propose 4 dates and I'd love any feedback.
5/16/11 - 4 nights with rooms starting at $239, $279 for ocean view and $469 for a balcony.
5/23/11 - 4 nights with rooms starting at $239, $279 for ocean view and $469 for a balcony.
9/5/11 - 4 nights with rooms starting at $164, $209 for ocean view and $339 for a balcony.
9/26/11 - 4 nights with rooms starting at $199, $234 for ocean view and $444 for a balcony.
We'd love any input we can get on dates. Please email your preferred date to cs [at] cropchocolate [dot] com. Once we decide the date, we will start selling spaces on the cruise. There will be a $100 deposit required to save a spot.

I'm so excited about this! Still trying to figure out if I'll be able to go, but I know it would be easier to figure out by September. Either week is fine since the first option is the day after my birthday and the second is my Mom's birthday! ;) May is my Anniversary month so we could celebrate then too, but I'm a fan of having more time to plan. :D

ugh... that's hard! Baseball is in May & Football is in September... poor little boy will have to have grandma/grandpa take him instead of mom/dad. Ya know what, it really doesn't matter to me :-) but if dh has a preference I'll email it in.

Oh that last one in September is during my Anniversary...think hubby wants to spend it on a scrapbooking cruise? Miscommunication happens all the time, but since I won't be able to go, the dates don't matter to me...hope all you ladies that can go have a total blast and I want to see pictures!!

ReplyDeleteIt's a 4 day Bahamas Norwegian Cruise departing from Miami.
ReplyDeleteSeptember is the height of Hurricane Season. That's why the prices are lower for that month. I would be more likely to go in May.

ReplyDeleteMay is out of the question for me....my senior is graduating and there are just too many activities. SO SAD to see it delayed so much...but would prefer September.

ReplyDeleteI would love the 9/5 date, but either Sept date would work for us. I might actually be able to go then. We could try and save up for it. I have lived through hurricanes, no problem there. (hersheykiss/Rebekkah)
ReplyDeleteMy vote would be for September, for pretty much the same reasons as the others; I am unable to go in May, but hopefully by September I could pull it off. Not crazy about the chance of hurricanes either, but still would prefer September - either date! (Juliet)
ReplyDeleteMy vote would be September - crop year end stuff in May, so that wouldn't work for me. Whatever you decide - sounds like a blast!
ReplyDeleteI so hope I can make it, the later dates are better for me for both staffing and saving reasons. Being new at scrapbooking and card making, I am looking at learning a lot from the talented CC ladies. I am REALLY good at buying the things I like, but not so good at figuring out what to do with them once I get them =o) (gmawlb)
