Good morning Chocolate Lovers! :)
The Design Team theme for the month is Valentines Day. This is the picture they were challenged to create with:
First up is JeepMama on how to make a great little home decor item.
Making a Gel Candle
Products Used:
Echo Park 6x6 Yours
Truly
Heart Punch
Candle Gel
Tab Wick
Jar
Small Glue Dot
Step 1. Punch a bunch
of hearts from Paper
Step 2. Met Candle Gel
according to instructions
Step 3. Place small
glue dot on tab of wick & place in inside center of jar
Step 4. Put about half
the hearts in jar
Step 5. Pour melted
Gel into jar
Step 6. Wait a few
minutes to let Gel begin to cool a bit then drop more hearts in
Step 7. When Gel is
completely cooled, finish off with decorative ribbon

Very cute, but can it be burned with the paper in there?
ReplyDeleteit's a fire-proof container, the hearts are 1/2" & smaller, if they did catch on fire it would be contained in the jar. sorry I did not burn it as I am giving it as a gift.

ReplyDeleteCute idea but just remember Gel candles burn hotter than regular candles DO NOT leave them on top of your plastic TV...they will melt a hole through the top...Honest,they will.
