Altered Composition Book - by Christina

When given this months project I was worried.  Reflections of me?  I never take my own picture and refuse to let anyone else.  So I knew a layout was out of the question.

After thinking about how to show you, me, I realized I needed to show who I am.  What I love.
This altered composition book tells you exactly what I like.

I started by covering the book the way I cover my canvas.
This piece was used under  a painting project so it was perfect.

The texture is perfect.

I pulled together the embellishments that would represent me and the things I love.

Travel,music,friends,photography and some inspiration.

These bits are things I have been saving for a special project. The key to our first home..yes it was a skeleton key.,some broken jewelry and a locket I love.I looped ribbon through them to hang from the book.

Then I glued it all together.
It's a journal for me to doodle in and to write whatever I want down.
It represents the things I love and it is ..me.
